I have started a new form of crack as the attraction to Warcraft has waned until the expansion comes out in Jan 07. So now I am giving EVE a swing to see how that goes. It is sort of a cross between homeworld and freelancer. The big differences are that you only control 1 ship at a time and that you can be more then a pirate (freelancer). The graphics are pretty light weight given the small number of things needed to render at any given time. But the things that are rendered( your ship most of the time) are done with excellent lighting and good textures. The game world itself has only been around for 3 years but ccp seems to be regularly releasing new content into the galaxy which is generally a good thing.
This is what I do while I am generally laying about watching tv or reading books around the apt after work, mostly because once I leave work I tend want to do as little as possible.
Books I am reading at the moment are Honor Harrington in general by David Weber and in physical form "The Dreamers" books by David and Leigh Eddings. I highly recommend both and the links to the Honor books are the full as shared on the cd that comes with the new book that says its ok to share the cd, so enjoy.
Other then that its generally just day to day things and getting ready for my trip this Christmas.
