Of the lake Dave and I live on. We finally have out kitchen pc up and running out of the pieces we had and then there was this lonely little webcam. So I decided that now would be a good time to hook it up and get some live images of where we live up. The pink tint on the sky is due to polarization of the glass in the sliding doors at some point i will order a usb extender cable and mount the camera somewhere it will have a better view. But for now at least there is a little webcam action on the blog.
And then there was a vision.....

So, do you have a post with the specs of the kitchen pc, or some pics or anything? That's one of the things I always thought I'd build in my copious amounts of spare time and I was just wondering what you built. Any custom software that is kitchen specific, or is it just a computer that happens to be in the kitchen? Did you get a swanky little 7" touch screen or anything, custom mounting? Details man!
Obligatory:

Dave spent like 2 hours to find that comic just to see if I would post it with the commentary. I figured someone else would put that link up there soon enough :)
best... penny arcade... ever :) I have had a printed copy stuck somewhere in my living area since my freshman year of college when I went back through and read everything in the past comics archive. Congrats to esigler for bringing it out again.
