Back to our regularly scheduled electricity. Yes we had our power shut off today because our electric company decided to credit last months payment to the old apartment and so decided this apt was in delinquency and cut our power this morning. They didn't bother to look at the old residence where they credited the monies. So I called Ameren after my landlord was nice enough to let me know what they were doing (she called me because we are not late on our bills and that seemed out of place) and they said they would get the credit transferred over immediately but there WERE NOT SURE they could get a tech out today to turn the power back on. I had some choice words about that and my landlord called them and found out what happened and she said that they had better get out here TODAY and get it turned on. luckily I was at a .net conference in Chicago all day and by the time we returned to Peoria it was back on.
