Right so the gov signed in a bill today to allow HIV organ donors for people that already have HIV. This sounds fair and reasonable, but.... Organs and donors and receivers and all that such is merely managed by paperwork and there are way way too many cases each year of surgeries that happen to wrong people and all that stuff that could have been prevented through simply checking the name on the order and the name on the person matches. But what if an HIV organ was given to someone who wasn't HIV positive because someone forgot to look at the checkbox that said this was an HIV organ or maybe that box didn't get checked because whomever pulled the organ forgot to check it because this is a new situation. Thats the kind of lawsuit that costs your license and seeing as the cost of medical school is so damn much, this is not a risk i think I would personally want to take. But hey I suppose this is just my opinion.
