Ya so while the group was at UIUC i found myself walking down the street with carrie and john towards the YMCA (we hoped.....) all walking side by side talking happily while john was looking at his shiny palm trying to find out exactly where we were. We were also approaching a cross street but were still just a little bit far away from the sign so carrie couldn't read it so she asked me to see what the street sign said. conversation went something like this.

Carrie: "Hey Matt, whats the street sign say up there?"
Me: *squinting* "John......"
Carrie: "No! whats the street sign say up there?"
Me: "John......."
Carrie: "No! I asked you what does the street sign say up there?"
Me: "John......"
Carrie: "This isn't funny whats the street sign say?"
John: "No seriously, the street name up there is John St. I can see it from here."
Carrie: ..........
Me: *Smiling* "Told ya."
Carrie: *laughing* "Not funny."

So this is my rendition of a very old comedic skit come to life and all it took was a little confusion. Talk to everyone later.

So i believe in Karma and not just the dog that is here for the weekend. The reason i say this is that the night before last me dave and zack were sitting around talking about past bad experiences. and of course daves kidney stone came up and of course being the individual that i am i laughed. and then the next morning i got up and i was sore in my lower left back. i thought it was a pulled muscle, it still might just be a pulled muscle. but now it is still sore and i have to go back to give another sample to see if i am being torn up yet from the inside out. ah well i let you all know more as time goes on

the line pretty much says it all. Its just been a long week and today is one of those days that will never end. i wonder if taking a nap in class would be a bad idea. Probably would be. ill get to go home at something like 10 pm tonight with about an hour and a half break this afternoon, with a test in math 303 and a test in psych 50 i do have a bit on my mind. Add that to a lot of other stuff and i am just getting worn out. I hope that this weekend will provide some kind of break. It just seems like even though i have only 9 hours of actual classes i don't ever get enough time in a block to actually get anything done. This will just need to be a work weekend as next weekend is reflections projections and I honestly don't expect to get anything done out there except for working on my liver a little bit. i am starting to get to the point of counting down the weeks until graduation just as i want to be able to get my degree finally even though it doesn't look like i am going anywhere except for to graduate school here. On the upside someone called and asked about the car yesterday which is just one step closer to a new powerbook for me. I cant wait until I can order it and an isight. They are just so damn cool, i really cant wait. Oh well i guess i'll go back to trying not to go to sleep in class.

well here i am reporting from the wasteland that is my current class. but on a better note it looks like the huge amount of BS that had happened the past couple of days has been cleared up and placed simply on temporarily insane. hopefully things will stay sane and nice, because i really don't like to feel like i am being abused. It looks like i will be going to the reflections projections job fair as well as the weekend convention afterward. I am looking forward to it and it should be a rather good time. well i think ill go to a java game website or something as i need to be able to make it to the end of this class period. Only another 40 min..........

Well it has been a while since i have posted and there a few that have changed. the most recent and most drastic is that I am now single, in case your curious as to how it went go to Dave. Basically that statement says a lot about it, but the way i see it is that if you cant have a sense of humor about some of the bad things that happen then I probably need to lighten up a bit. As for other recent events I went out to the great state of Wyoming with Carrie and had a great time. I got to meet some of the Brothers of my fraternity KKY and also got to go horseback riding and enjoy a really pretty drive once I had gotten further west. other then those two things well as you can i haven't posted very often and the reason is that I am living a pretty dull existence right now and it is nice and not stressful. A nice change. Well I suppose Ill try to pay a little more attention to class but I highly doubt I will be successful. This is the news the Rolla in the perspective of me :)
